Extract Recipe

1/2# Crystal Malt (40L)
1/2# Black Barley Malt
6# Light Malt Extract
2oz. Northern Brewer Hops (boiling)
1oz. Cascade Hops (aroma)
Lager yeast of choice

-Bring 3 gal. of water to a boil. Allow to cool to aporx. 180′and add
steeping grains.
-Steep grains for 15-20 min. then remove.
-Add malt extract and bring to a boil.
-Add boiling hops for 45 min. and remove.
-Add aroma hops for 1-3 min. and remove.
-Let cool and add to 2 gal. of water already in fermenter.
-Pitch yeast when cool.
-Let ferment at ale tempreture and bottle or KEG when fermentation complete.
