Notes:
I remember my Grandfather talking about very high hopped
pre-prohibition American Lagers that he called American Pilsners.

He said that they had between 15% to 30% corn in the recipe.

I did some digging around and found some references to this style
(The Brewery website and a Brewing Techniques from a couple of
years ago).

I must say it was one of the clearest worts I have ever produced.

It came out very high hopped and sweet. Can’t wait for it to be
done so I can drink it.

Added 2 teaspoons of Irish Moss.

Yeast:

2035 American Lager
Not a pilsener strain. Bold, complex and woody, producing a
slight diacetyl. Reportedly used in New Ulm, MN. Flocculation –
medium; apparent attenuation – 73-77%. (48-58°F)
